I squeezed my eyes shut and spun around, “Sorry.”
Elwin was laughing as he walked out of the water and moved to my left. After a few moments, he cleared his throat and said, “You can open your eyes now.”
My face heated even more when I saw the rest of his six-pack being hidden under some over-washed Phish t-shirt. I cleared my throat, “Phish? They’re okay. Not fully my vibe.”
“I like Phish all right, but I really I wear these because I think these are . . .” He pulled out his shirt and looked down, “. . . hysterically ironic.” He looked up and smiled, “Want to see why?”
