Hi, all ya’ll beautiful people!
I haven’t done one of these or any posts in a while, but working on a new Workout Wednesday post for tomorrow, so I’ve got that going on for me, which is good. LOL!
So here’s a little update on what’s been going on. My November sucked ass, at least when it came to training, diet was okay, but training… woo… terrible. I did not plan appropriately for my book; Fate is a Mated Bitch release, National Novel Writing Month (I wrote just over 50,000 words in 30 days!), and training all at the same. I thought I could keep up with the intensive program I had designed, I was wrong, so very wrong.
But to be honest, I’ve had been struggling before that. I had gained weight and then plateaued there. I kept cutting carbs, increasing my workouts and cardio. I was doing everything wrong and eventually decided I needed outside help to get back on track. I can handle planning and designing my workouts and programs… loving what I’m doing currently, tell you more about it tomorrow. BUT bodybuilding is 70% nutrition, and I was lost when it came to my own.
I had been an If It Fits Your Macros girl since I started lifting without realizing it was a real thing. LOL. I can’t eat the same thing every day and wouldn’t stop myself from having ice cream or an occasional treat as long as I logged it. So when I needed help, I went to iifym.com and did the basic calculator. Which, by the way, was one of the best most thorough I’ve seen on any site. Still, my numbers seemed a bit off, and they were running a special on a more in-depth macro blueprint, so I got an early Christmas present (Thanks, Jon!). And he also got me one-on-one coaching with them for a couple of months just to make sure I get a good handle on my nutrition again (Double thanks, Babe!).
I haven’t lost any weight in eight weeks. I, in fact, weigh exactly same in both pictures, but that doesn’t matter because as you can see… It’s working! The pics on the left are from 11-30-16 and the right 1-28-17.
I’m so happy with how my back, arms, and booty are looking! Tummy and the rest of me will get there!
I’m also participating in Bodybuilding.com‘s #250kchallenge! It goes for 12 weeks and I just started week four. I love the workouts I’ve designed! And now that my nutrition is dialed back in… who knows what could happen! Here’s my first four-weeks of progress! Again, I’m exact same weight in both pictures!
Okay! That’s it for now!
Have a fabulous Transformation Tuesday!
